It’s fun being right when you have one of those families whose members assume you’re wrong or don’t know what you’re talking about 90% of the time.
So, on the way home with the girls from an overnighter, a song came on the radio, that sounded strikingly like U2 (except for the voice being a bit less masculine than Bono’s).
Thus, the following two part debate initiated and was inadvertently recorded (seeing as I had been trying to document the end of our “Vacay-for-a-day” – not psychically anticipating that a tune might come on the radio and result in a recorded song squabble; it just worked out that way).
Anyway, thus it went:
Anyway, my daddy always told me I have a one track mind.
Knowing that not knowing for sure would bother me all day, I promptly consulted with Grandmaster Google and Sir Wikipedia, who respectively confirmed that many others also felt this song’s sound resembled U2, and that I was indeed correct in inferring from their voices that their band members lacked lady parts.
