I’ve seen this meme going around lately:
If we’re talking the details of quantum physics, ehhh… I guess you get a pass. But everyday stuff? Not so much – and it’s not because you should have every detail on every topic memorized.
Rather, in the age of smartphones, when it comes to info assimilation, we’re living a real life game of “Who Wants to be a Millionare?”
It’s called ignorance because you’re making a conscious decision to ignore the availability of/assimilate the information that is anywhere you look.
Not a sermon, just some reason.
