Oh… Dexter’s getting good! And now that the phantom arsonist dude is dead, the only thing that is on fire now is Deb’s pants… because she’s definitely lying.
My girl friend Megan raised some valid points about Dexter predictions for the coming episodes and seasons. We both hope that the romance remains somehow and that they get back together. We both also believe that Hannah was NOT responsible for drugging Deb.
Yeah right. If she really hadn’t drugged herself, Hannah would have been her first suspect upon waking in a hospital. I also think Deb drugged herself intentionally because:
1. She’s in love with Dexter (and a little mad in the head).
2. She already admitted she’d do anything to put Hannah away.
And most importantly:
3. If you rewind to Hannah’s visit to Deb’s house to try and smooth over matters, Deb was already drinking the water as they spoke. It wasn’t in her car. It wasn’t out of her hand. Yes – she did say she went for a run that evening, but so what? She went for a run and was only thirsty enough afterward to polish off the rest of the water she already had mostly drunk/was half finished?
And then she put that same water in her car the next day?
Not likely. If Hannah had drugged the water she was already drinking, Deb would have had the rest of it after her run that night and (since she said it had a short half life), the worst that would have happened to her would have been a pretty good sleep.
As for Dexter and Hannah? At the very least we know we haven’t seen the last of her. What kind of an idiot admits that they’re the notorious unidentified serial killer to their girlfriend, then rats out said confidant lover? Vendetta or not about what he thinks she did to Deb, he can’t expect her to remain silent about that. I don’t think she’ll talk, but I’m just sayin’… it wasn’t smart of him to assume she wouldn’t after putting her away…
